Help "Mack" Fill a Pack!

Since many of the kids in our community go back to school without enough supplies, the staff of Mack Avenue is going to local schools, getting a list of the more needy families, and will be going into their homes to share the love of Christ in a practical way by presenting the backpacks.

Items need to be dropped off at the "Mack Ave" ministry cart located across from the Information Counter by Sunday, August 24th.

Starting Point

If you have questions about the Christian faith, if you want to hear more regarding what Christianity is all about, come to Starting Point.  Starting Point is a 10-week group discussion about key teachings of Christianity, what we believe and how the believer fits into God's great story.  Starting Point will meet during first or second service.  We will provide more information regarding the date our first Starting Point class will meet.

Fill a "back-to-school" backpack

Let's help Mack Avenue Reach their goal of 300 backpacks for children in the Detroit School District.

Needed:  supply one item or the entire contents of a backpack)

• Backpack
• crayons
• markers
• spiral notebooks (wide rule)
• pencils
• pocket folders
• glue sticks
• colored pencils
• scissors.  

Items be dropped off at the "Mack Ave" ministry cart located across from the Information Counter by Sunday, August 24th.
